Keegan Bradley Reaches New Levels

Keegan Bradley Presents WGC TrophyKeegan Bradley continues to impress the world in clutch situations, winning the WGC Bridgestone Invitational on the 72nd hole. Bradley, 26, counts the win at Firestone C.C. as his first PGA Tour triumph since last year’s PGA Championship at Atlanta Athletic Club — he’ll try to defend that major title this week at Kiawah Isand.

With rounds of 67-69-67 in the first three days, Keegan was six shots off the lead at one point on the opening nine holes Sunday. He refused to quit, however, making four birdies and plenty of clutch par saves on the back nine to post a final-round 64, good for a one-stroke victory.  On the final hole, Bradley needed a seemingly improbable up-and-down from a plugged lie in a greenside bunker to win. He played his bunker shot to 15 feet and drained the putt, adding another dramatic moment to his highlight-filled first two years on Tour.

Bradley led the field in birdies for the week and finished tied for sixth in Driving Accuracy.

Keegan moves into fourth place in the U.S. Ryder Cup team standings and is now a lock to make the squad. The win also catapulted him to seventh place in the FedEx Cup standings.

Walking off the 72nd hole and with victory secure, Keegan’s first remark was: “It’s the second week with the new Srixon Z-STAR. It has brought me to a new level. I love it.”

We promise that when the time is right, we will tell you more about this remarkable ball!
